Description: Field Service Engineer working on SPM allied to the FMCG packaging and processing sector
Salary: £28k basic plus benefits - realistic OTE in excess of £40k plus benefits
Field Service Engineer – UK - £28k basic + expenses + benefit – OTE £45k+ Our client is renowned as a global leader in the provision of packaging and processing technology to the food and drink industry, offering an exhaustive range of bespoke special purpose machinery from wrappers and sleeving systems through to palletizers and fillers, and as a result of ongoing success and planned strategic recruitment, are seeking to recruit an experience field service professional to compliment their existing team.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive skills in the use of Siemens S7 PLC software, and will not only be able to undertake fault find, diagnosis and repair tasks but additionally will be a proficient programmer able to confidently add code to an existing system and will demonstrate an electrically biased, multi discipline maintenance and service background.
With a global customer network, the flexibility to undertake overseas travel is paramount, and with locations including Saudi Arabia and the United States, the role will suit only those individuals able to meet such demanding travel requirements on an ongoing basis.
Whilst experience of aerosol filling and explosion proof equipment will prove to be distinctly advantageous, the core requirement for this exciting role aside from flexibility on UK and overseas travel is the hands on multiskilled ability to repair equipment effectively whilst acting as an ambassador to the organisation and maintaining and developing new and established relationships, so exceptional communication skills are essential.
