As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, high calibre and committed Sales Engineer to compliment the established and successful team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated business development profession to develop a successful and rewarding career within a well established and progressive organisation, operating within the world of Automation and Control, with an outstanding record of growth based on providing Single Source Solutions.
The principle role would be to drive new business sales of PLC/HMI/SCADA Systems, whilst simultaneously or subsequently developing prospects for Control Panel and Installation activities. The Sales approach would predominately focus on new clients, specifically targeting end-users, in both mature and emerging industrial markets.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, and will be a well presented, customer facing, confident individual who is motivated and committed to success in a competitive Sales environment.
Reporting directly to the MD, you will undertake a range of activities associated with a key business development position of this nature, including extensive Cold Calling / Lead Generation, new customer development, opportunity qualification / assessment, responding to invitations to tender and meeting with prospective customers, preparing and delivering sales presentations and working with both other sales engineers within the organisation as well as the automation division to ensure smooth project delivery on solutions ranging between £30k to £1/2m.
Whilst technical solutions, application engineering and the detailed tendering / quotation processes would be handled elsewhere within the successful Automation Division, occasional exposure may occur to these areas, and those individuals able to demonstrate technical knowledge and experience gained within the Systems Integration industry as well as Control Panel Manufacture and Electrical Installations would be considered as a distinct advantage.
