Premier Technical Recruitment
Technical Training Instructor - Kent - to £30k + ben

Ref: PTR10/918

Location: Kent

Description: Enthusiastic, articulate and experienced electrically biased, multi discipline engineer required to devise and deliver technical training courses to a range of individuals and end users.

Salary: to £30k + benefits

Our client specialise in the provision of bespoke electrical, mechanical and instrumentation practical skills training to a diverse range of clients and industry sectors throughout the UK. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an articulate, enthusiastic and highly self motivated Technical Training Instructor to compliment the activities of their established and successful team.

The successful candidate will be an electrically biased engineering and technical instructor who will be responsible for the design and delivery of short training courses to small groups of varying levels of experienced engineers at both the Kent based Head Office as well as customer premises throughout the UK, therefore a flexible approach and the ability to travel are essential requirements for the role.

To be considered for this diverse and highly challenging opportunity, you will demonstrate comprehensive technical electrical engineering knowledge, ideally gained within an electrical engineering environment and essentially the ability to communicate at all levels and both engage and empower your varied audience when presenting technical subjects in order to achieve the desired training results.

Such courses include 17th Edition IEE regs certification, PAT testing, drives and controls as well as basic mechanical and electrical maintenance courses, and whilst the role operates within predominantly “traditional” office hours, a flexible approach is required as the role sometimes includes evening and weekend work.

In return, an attractive remuneration package, stability and a rare opportunity to achieve true job satisfaction are available to the right candidate, so if you feel you possess the relevant skills and experience and are keen to utilise your proven engineering skills in an alternative technical environment, contact Paul Simcox at Premier Technical Recruitment on 01827 68400 or email your cv in the strictest confidence to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   for further details.
