Process Engineer - Wastewater - to £45k plus ben - Wiltshire

Description: Experienced Process Engineer with exceptional communication skills required to compliment and support an established team

Salary: £35k to £45k plus benefits dependant upon experience

Our client specialize in the design and supply of equipment used in the treatment of domestic and industrial water and wastewater, and as a result of recent positive restructuring and a series of strategic acquisitions that have provided the organisation with recognized trademarks, cutting edge technology and access to new markets including sea water desalination and energy, they offer a complete range of both solutions and products on a Global basis and are seeking to recruit an experienced Process Engineer to compliment their existing team.

 
Based in the Wiltshire area, the successful candidate will be required to be located within the region and will be responsible for providing process input to tenders and projects on one or a number of contracts for the Group as instructed by the Process Manager. You will be in direct contact with the customer and will act as the interface with all Company departments, necessitating approximately 60% office based and 40% site based for a variety of clients, and will therefore requires a flexible approach with the potential for occasional overseas assignments.
 
 
To be considered for this exciting and challenging opportunity, you will be degree qualified with at least 5 years experience in wastewater treatment process design and operation, and will possess a full UK driving licence and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of engineering specifications, P&ID’s, drawings and site commissioning procedures as well as being computer literate.
 
Duties will include (but not be limited to)
 
  • Providing Technical / Process design input to support the proposals, tenders and contracts teams
  • Setting up schedules for the timely submission and completion of all drawings, technical data, manufacturing and installation schedules, as agreed with the Process Manager and the Project Managers
  • Attending contractual meetings with the customer as necessary, within the Europe, Middle East and Africa region
  • Liaising closely with the Installation Team on the commissioning of equipment
  • Undertaking the process commissioning of plants in a logical and methodical way.
  • Monitoring the ongoing process performance of operational plants and making operational changes as and when necessary.
  • Reporting any recurring warranty problems and where necessary produce reports for submission to the technical department.
  • Preparing presentations and papers for conferences and clients
  • Ensuring consistent designs of plants and feedback learning points to the technical department to implement on future schemes.
  • Training of staff and clients on Process equipment.
