Description: Experienced and enthusiastic C#.net / C++ software development professional required for busy consultancy environment

Salary: to £35k plus ben

Our client develop, manufacture and market advanced gas detection products for industrial safety, environmental monitoring and process control/analysis applications, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an articulate, enthusiastic and highly self motivated Software Engineer to complement their established and successful team.

Qualified to at least HND level in a relevant engineering qualification, you will demonstrate previous experience gained in the use of C#.net and C++ in a windows environment, and ideally for high level embedded firmware development applications.

You will be responsible for the design, maintenance and documentation of the PC and PDA tools, used for the installation, configuration and maintenance of company products in the field, and for the associated design, maintenance and documentation of in house PC tools, used for programming, test and configuration during the manufacture of the product portfolio.

Additionally you will assist in the maintenance of high level product code for company products and be heavily involved in the production of support documentation for the software products and in the provision of customer support for the software products.
